Long before Maine was founded in 1820, immigrants were settling in our beautiful state. And, the migration into our state has continued with new Mainers coming from new and different places. In 1890, Joe's grandparents emigrated to Maine from Latvia. Joe's family left Latvia with the hope for a better life in America. Joe's family found their way to Maine and is still here today six generations later.
Today, Maine continues to grow more and more diverse with many different cultures and languages spoken. In over 50 years, the Law Offices of Joe Bornstein has represented more than 25,000 Mainers of all socioeconomic backgrounds and from many different countries of origin. Joe's staff of 10 attorneys and over 40 legal professionals all reside in Maine and have families who live and work in our local communities.
If you or a loved one was injured by the negligence of someone or something else or is disabled, you deserve equal justice no matter your ethnicity or background. Our law firm is here to help you every step of the way. If English is not your native language, we will make translation and interpreter services available to you. Joe's family immigrated to America to better their lives for generations to come. That same sentiment is the foundation of our law firm today. We are Maine lawyers working for all Maine people since 1974.
